Honda ST1300 Rear Panels

Fitting and Removal Instructions (as sent to you with the Panels).

Whilst these instructions look very lengthy, the actual fitting and removal task only takes seconds.

PLEASE ensure you read ALL of the foregoing BEFORE attempting to fit your Panels.

Please Note:
Every pair of Panels are fully checked for both overall quality and fitting - just prior to being despatched.

If you purchase a sprayed pair of Panels -
they come to you ... ready to fit.

If the Panels are sent to you finished in Gel Coat (for you to spray), the rubber edge trim is not fixed on to the Panels (but is supplied with the Panels).


Fitting:

• Remove the side luggage box in the normal manner and leave the locking lever in the upright position.
• The principles of how you fit your new Panels are exactly the same as fitting your side boxes.
• Locate the lower locating bracket on the Panel, on to the lower lug on the motorcycle.
• Now firmly push the top of the Panel – inwards and downwards. Check that the bottom bracket is fully down on to the lower lug.
• You will find that you achieve the optimum fit by paying particular attention to aligning the Panel with the rear indicator lense and ensuring the bottom bracket is fully located on to the bottom lug.
• Once you have the Panel in the correct position, push the luggage locking lever fully down (do not force down!), and turn key to lock into position.


Removal:
• Very Simply - Unlock and raise the luggage locking lever. Get a firm grip with one hand on the bottom of a Panel and pull up and outwards.
